The future of public research funding for behavioral sciences

Please join former NIH Program Director and health communication scholar, Dr. Sylvia Chou, and retired NCI Branch Chief Dr. Susan Czajkowski, and along with other Bethesda Declaration signers for a discussion about the current state of NIH and science.

After providing an honest personal assessment of the current inner workings at the NIH, the panelists will offer concrete strategies on sustaining critical research under attack and importantly, how to effectively speak out in defense of science and truth.

Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM CT

Location: 8TH FLOOR MEETING ROOM,

HAROLD WASHINGTON LIBRARY CENTER
