Tell us about your business.
“ProWorkz Career Services offers personalized resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, job search support, and soon, tailored career coaching consultations. I help clients articulate their experience in a way that gets attention and aligns with their goals.”
What inspired you to start your business?
“I started ProWorkz Career Services because I saw too many talented professionals struggling to communicate their value on paper. My goal was to offer affordable, strategic career support that goes beyond keywords, rooted in consultation, storytelling, and real results.”
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.
“I'm passionate about helping people show up confidently in their careers. With a background in both private sector and federal HR, along with a strong understanding of recruitment, engagement, and workforce development, I'm driven by a desire to make the job search process less overwhelming and more empowering—especially for those navigating major career transitions.”
What was your role at NIH?
“I served as an HR Specialist (Staffing & Classification) for over three years in the Office of Human Resources, managing recruitment portfolios for the Clinical Center and NINR. Currently, I work as a Management Analyst in a dual-capacity role: I lead a range of employee engagement and development programs as a program manager, and I also serve as a data analyst—conducting organizational assessments, analyzing engagement data, and supporting strategic planning initiatives through special projects.”
How has your NIH experience influenced your business journey?
“My time at NIH sharpened my expertise in federal hiring, classification, employee development, and engagement data. It gave me a well-rounded view of how talent is evaluated and supported—insight I now use to help clients navigate competitive job markets with strategy and confidence. I also understand how to convert federal resumes into concise, results-driven private sector versions that resonate with recruiters outside government.”
What is something you're proud of or excited about right now?
“I'm proud of the impact ProWorkz has made since launching publicly, especially helping military retirees, career pivoters, and federal employees transition into new roles. Hearing clients say that our consultations reminded them of their worth and impact has been the most rewarding part of this journey so far.”
