Hannah Evans, Former Research Associate

Hannah worked for the Ophthalmic Genomics Laboratory at NEI as a research associate in a contract position for nearly two years. She is now involved in 27UNIHTED as a volunteer and hopes to continue to support the NIH mission and community.

When asked about her position she had this to say “With my termination, what little hands on research for rare genetic eye disease research was occurring for the affected communities will be in the process of drastically losing momentum, leaving the public in the dark about causes and therapeutics for their diseases.”
