Anna Culbertson, Former Scientific Program Specialist
Anna Culbertson was a Scientific Program Specialist until Feburary 14th 2025. She has spent everyday since dedicated to helping federal employees, with a website spoonfederal, and co-founding 27 uNIHted. She serves on the board of the patient advocacy group, Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome Network, and has a passion for helping rare disease patients. She hopes one day to go to school for a PhD in genomic epidemiology.
On her termination, she just wants folks to know her fears of the future. “My job is not as important to me as our nation. NIH’s work is inevitably becoming political due to the consolidation of many programs. Me losing my position was the first domino in this administration’s larger agenda. So we’re here, 27 uNIHted, to fight back, for our nations health, and my children’s future.”
